Kibble labeled as “complete and balanced” means it meets the minimum nutrition requirements set by AAFCO. Quality, source and processing of the ingredients is not guaranteed. Some so-called “beef” kibbles made with meat meals may contain only around 6% real beef content!

“Kibble contains real nutrition from real ingredients.”

Kibble does contain real ingredients but most of the natural nutrients and flavours are destroyed during high-heat extrusion process. Artificial flavors and synthetic additives are usually added to fill the gap.

Raw food diets are often considered "natural" as it mimics the ancestral diet of the pets. However, raw food poses risks of bacterial contamination and nutritional imbalances when it is not properly prepared and formulated.
